What I am about to tell you may be the most important message you have ever
heard.
Let me start with a story, perhaps one you have heard, but its point remains sharp!
Flood waters continued to rise mercilessly, as the small, low-lying town was
overcome by a huge rainstorm. One homeowner climbed on top of his roof, as the
waters showed no sign of abating. Filled with faith, the man prayed to God,
"Lord, keep me from harm. I know you will save me from this storm!" Almost
immediately, a boat came by, its helmsman gesturing to the man to get into the
boat. The devout man said no, "God will save me!" As two other boats came by and
were rejected, the man continued to pray, "Lord, I KNOW You will save me from
this storm!" As he looked to the heavens, he saw a rescue helicopter slowly
descending above him, with a rescue basket being lowered to him. The crewman in
the chopper above motioned frantically for the man to climb to safety, into the
basket. The worshipper again waved him off, only seconds before as the raging
current swept the man to his death.
Next thing the man knew, he was at the "Pearly Gates of Heaven" -- and he was
angry! When he finally saw God, he asked, "Lord, why did you not save me in the
storm?" God replied, "What do you mean? I sent you three boats and a helicopter?
What more did you need?"
Sometimes one may think that change will come in one's life by mere wishing.
Meanwhile, the same daily, personal actions continue to produce the same
results. There is actually a saying, "If you do what you have always done, don't
be surprised when you have what you have always had." Our lives tend to be
filled with habitual actions, ones that continually reap the same rewards. And,
amidst such day-to-day living, it can be hard to imagine doing anything else.
"This is what I have always done", or "This is what everyone in my family has
always done." And we stand on the same isolated rooftop, as the flood waters of
so many undesired elements -- debt, sickness, thoughtlessness, sour
relationships, and boredom -- rise up around us, drowning our dreams, goals,
hopes and unseen opportunities.
Well, I have found a "boat", a helicopter, that is a life-changer -- and for
busy people, it is ideal! How would you like to change your life to one of
health, wealth, success, and fulfillment -- and do it in just 6 minutes a day?
Seriously, the information that you work with for 6 minutes a day is the same
that has changed the lives of millions of people over a 50-year period. It is
taught by Bob Proctor (you might have recognized him from the book and movie,
"The Secret"). Bob is a master teacher for building success.
